Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D., Rector of Universitas Terbuka (UT), personally handed over the Decree of Appointment for the Functional Position of Professor to a lecturer from the Faculty of Law, Social, and Political Sciences at Universitas Terbuka (FHISIP UT). The lecturer appointed as Professor is Prof. Dr. Darmanto, M.Ed., in the field of Public Administration. The event was also attended by the Vice-Rectors, Faculty Deans, Heads of Departments, as well as FHISIP lecturers and staff. The decree handover ceremony took place at the FHISIP UT Building III, 1st Floor. 

The event began with a speech by Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D. In his remarks, he congratulated Prof. Dr. Darmanto, M.Ed. on achieving the title of professor and motivated other FHISIP lecturers to strive for professorships. Prof. Ojat stated that the appointment of a professor is the pinnacle of academic achievement and contribution. He emphasized that the role of a professor is expected to significantly contribute to their field and inspire colleagues to follow the steps to achieve professorships.
