During the 40th Anniversary celebration, UT launched a series of digital innovations that are set to transform the learning and management experience at UT, making it more advanced. Apart from celebrating four decades of contributing to distance education, UT also made a breakthrough by launching new applications that simplify various processes for the academic community. Here are some of the flagship innovations launched at this event:
Application Launching:
MyUT Management Application
An all-in-one management application that facilitates management in planning, directing, and supervising business processes to enhance UT’s productivity. It provides data and information related to: 1) monitoring progress of the main performance indicators (IKU), 2) procurement, income, and expenditure information for planning, monitoring, and evaluation, 3) management of funds and researcher data for research, community service, and publications, 4) academic performance monitoring and student management, and 5) UT’s human resources management.
e-Asset Application
Need help managing assets? The UT e-Asset app is the solution! It simplifies inventory and fixed asset management, making everything faster and easier—from asset bookkeeping per room, inventory of university assets, inventory count, asset transactions between units, borrowing items, to real-time monitoring of stock. Asset requests to the warehouse become more practical, ensuring unit needs are met on time. e-Asset offers effective management, becoming an essential tool in transforming asset management at UT.
HRIS Application
HR matters without hassle? UT’s HRIS (Human Resource Information System) offers a superior solution for managing human resources spread across 39 UT Regional Offices. HRIS UT provides quicker access to employee data in real-time, integrating key information such as employee history, training records, and performance assessments. This supports decision-making related to placement, career development, and training needs.
The system automates payroll, attendance, and complete employee data management. It reduces administrative workload and minimizes manual errors that can occur during data processing. With this automation, UT can focus on strategic development and decision-making.
Beyond improving operational efficiency through administrative automation, HRIS ensures compliance with labor regulations through automatic monitoring features, reducing error risks and potential legal issues while maintaining UT’s professional reputation.
New Panutan Application
To enhance digital office management services, UT also launched PANUTAN Version 2.0 during the 40th Anniversary Celebration, an upgraded version of the application initially used since January 3, 2022. With standout features like compatibility with MS Word and improved security systems, PANUTAN meets the needs of document and administration management at UT.
PANUTAN 2.0 offers several advantages, including: 1) Speed and flexibility, 2) Responsive and attractive design, 3) User-friendly interface, 4) MS Word compatibility, and 5) Enhanced system security. PANUTAN Version 2.0 will be implemented at the beginning of 2025.
The Bionic Office Integration System (BOIS) or PANUTAN (Portal of UT Office Document and Administration Application) was developed to continually improve digital office management services. Previously, the integrated Version 1.0 was officially launched by the UT Rector on December 27, 2021.
PANUTAN is designed to manage documents for UT’s large academic community, with over half a million active students. Given this scale, a manual approach is no longer relevant, and a modern, reliable, and accurate system is necessary. PANUTAN is the solution in the digital era, where technology is a critical tool for streamlining tasks, simplifying processes, and boosting productivity. PANUTAN allows every UT employee to work more efficiently and swiftly, addressing the need for improved management.
PANUTAN also offers various benefits for modern, accurate, and fast office management services. The system simplifies document tracking and reduces office supply usage (e.g., paper, printers, toner). Its web-based and mobile versions allow work to be done from anywhere, supporting the paperless concept, reducing paper, printer, toner, and other stationery needs. PANUTAN significantly changes how UT manages documents and administration, making everything simpler, faster, and more efficient.
