The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Terbuka (FEB UT) and the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FEB UNNES) have officially established a strategic partnership to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by the Dean of FEB UT, Dr. Meirani Harsasi, S.E., M.Si. and the Dean of FEB UNNES Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the FEB UNNES Building, Semarang. 

This partnership covers various fields, including education, research, and community service. In the aspect of education, both faculties are committed to expanding access to quality learning. Meanwhile, in the field of research, FEB UT and FEB UNNES will encourage collaborative research that focuses on economic and business issues relevant to the needs of the community and industry. 

The activity began with a speech from the Dean of FEB UT, Dr. Meirani Harsasi, S.E., M.Si. who conveyed the purpose of this partnership to strengthen the collaboration of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This was followed by a speech by Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si. as the Dean of FEB UNNES who opened the opportunity for cooperation for the benefit of the academic world. 

The signing of the MoA was also attended by representatives of lecturers from FEB UT, namely Drs. Moh. Muzammil, M.M. as the Director of UT Semarang, Dra. Andi Sylvana, M.Si. and Dr.E. Andriyansah, S.E., M.M. as representatives of lecturers from the Management Study Program, Dr. Siswandaru Kurniawan, S.E., Akt., M.Si. as a representative of lecturers from the Accounting Study Program, and Ni Made Ayu Krisna Cahyadi, S.E., M.E. as a representative of lecturers from the Development Economics Study Program. Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Business, Research, and Partnership at FEB UNNES, Dorojatun Prihandono, S.E., M.M., Ph.D. along with several lecturers also welcomed the arrival of FEB UT to establish cooperation.
