South Tangerang, April 21, 2025 – Universitas Terbuka (UT) once again conducted the inauguration of officials within its internal environment on Monday (21/4/2025), in an official ceremony held at the Kualitas Building, 3rd Floor, UT Central Campus, Pondok Cabe, South Tangerang. The event was attended by the newly appointed officials who were directly inaugurated by the Rector of UT, Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A., and was attended by invitees, including the vice rectors, deans, and heads of other work units.

This activity is part of UT’s strategic efforts to strengthen its institutional structure and improve organizational governance that is more agile, adaptive, and responsive to the challenges of the times. Based on the Rector of Universitas Terbuka’s Decrees Number 983, 834, 986, 988, 992 to 999 of 2025 dated April 14, 2025, and Number 1022 to 1023 of 2025 dated April 16, 2025, Rector Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A. stipulated that effective April 21, 2025, a number of officials were respectfully dismissed and several others were appointed to new positions.

* Dr. Pardamean Daulay, as Director of UT LLN (Universitas Terbuka Overseas).
* Hasanuddin, M.Si., as Manager of Partnership and Certification Development at UPPDJI (Center for Development of Learning and Examination Services).
* Dr. Vivi Indra Amelia Nst., as Expert Staff for UT Development Towards World Class University at the Office of Vice Rector IV.
* Sugiyono, M.Ak., as Taxation Manager at Puslakeu (Financial Management Center).
* Renaldi Purnayudha, M.Ak., as Treasury Manager at Puslakeu (Financial Management Center).

Based on the Rector of Universitas Terbuka’s Decrees Number 983 to 999 of 2025 dated April 14, 2025, and Number 1021 to 1023 of 2025 dated April 16, 2025, Rector Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A. stipulated that effective April 21, 2025, for official purposes, additional duties/positions for the 2025 – 2030 term were assigned to:

In his remarks, Dr. Mohamad Yunus congratulated the officials who had been inaugurated and those who had completed their duties.
“Alhamdulillah, time moves on, and there comes a time when change is inevitable in this world. Change creates tasks, change completes tasks, and change ends tasks,” said Mohamad Yunus.
Dr. Mohamad Yunus conveyed the message that this inauguration momentum is not merely ceremonial but has an important and profound meaning, especially in carrying out an entrusted responsibility.
“Carry out your duties to the best of your ability, while we can. Guard the trust given. This is an honor that we must maintain, we must fulfill wholeheartedly,” Dr. Mohamad Yunus advised all the inaugurated officials.
This inauguration of UT officials included various levels of positions both within UT Central and UT Regional offices, ranging from Subdivision Heads, Managers, Heads of Study Programs, Directors, Heads of Centers, Heads of Institutions to Deans. Some were promotions, while others were rotations designed for organizational refreshment and increased work effectiveness.
More than just the placement of positions, this inauguration also reflects UT’s spirit in encouraging the emergence of new leadership capable of responding to the challenges of distance higher education amidst technological developments and societal demands. As a pioneer of open education in Indonesia, UT requires human resources who are not only technically competent but also possess vision and integrity.
The inauguration ceremony took place solemnly yet with enthusiasm. After the reading of the decree and the oath-taking, the inaugurated officials received official documents and congratulations from university leaders. The event concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of togetherness and collective commitment.
This inauguration of officials is part of UT’s sustainable strategy in strengthening an agile, responsive, and service quality-oriented governance system for distance higher education. In line with its status as a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH) since 2021, UT continues to strive for institutional transformation based on innovation, inclusivity, and digitalization.
