Problem Based Learning Model, Partnership Between UT with Faculty of Law Unair and Faculty of Law Masstricht University

The Law Study Program of Universitas Terbuka (UT), in collaboration with the Faculty of Law at Universitas Airlangga and the Faculty of Law at Maastricht University, signed an Implementation Arrangement (IA) for the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This initiative follows the Memorandum of Agreement between the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Sciences (FHISIP) of Universitas Terbuka and the Faculty of Law at Universitas Airlangga concerning the Implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, Agreement Number B/16891/UN31.FHISIP/HK.08.00/2023. 

This event also marked the arrangement of a Workshop on the Problem-Based Learning Model in the Field of Law for lecturers and tutors of the Law Study Program and the Law Master’s Program at Universitas Terbuka. The workshop featured experts in case-based legal education from the Faculty of Law at Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Radian Salman, S.H., LL.M., and Dr. Rosa Ristawati, S.H., LL.M., as well as an expert in case-based legal education from the Faculty of Law at Maastricht University, Mr. Dr. Fokke Fernhout. 

Through this event and the signing of the IA, Universitas Terbuka, Universitas Airlangga, and Maastricht University are committed to continuously innovating in legal education to produce a generation of young people who are excellent and highly competitive in the era of globalization.
