Tangerang Selatan, September 4, 2025 – The atmosphere at the peak of the 41st Dies Natalis of Universitas Terbuka (UT) was vibrant on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The event was held in person at the Universitas Terbuka Convention Center (UTCC) and online via Zoom, with all UT employees from the central and regional offices in attendance. During the event, the winners of the UT 2025 Dies and National Scientific Discussion, Sports, and Arts (Disporseni) Competitions were announced.
UT presented various prestigious awards to its academic community, strategic partners, students, and high school students, in appreciation of their dedication, innovation, and participation in the Dies Natalis and Disporseni National 2025 events.

The UT National Disporseni is an annual event designed to foster the talents and interests of UT students from across the archipelago and abroad. This year’s theme was “Carving Achievements, Weaving Togetherness Towards Golden Indonesia.” The series of events for the 41st Dies Natalis and Disporseni 2025 ran from April to September 2025, featuring 41 activities and involving around 1,500 participants from among employees, students, and the general public.
Through these events, UT reaffirmed its commitment to providing equitable and quality higher education to all of Indonesia’s youth by breaking down the barriers of space and time. The tagline for this year’s Dies Natalis, “Innovation Without Limits, Realizing Quality Education,” reflects UT’s commitment to supporting educational equity, building national character, and addressing the challenges of Golden Indonesia 2045.

UT Bandung was named the General Champion of the UT National Disporseni 2025. Other awards were given to the following:
- Best SALUT: SALUT Majalengka
- Best Regional UT: UT Palembang
- Outstanding Lecturer: Isma Dwi Fiani, S.I.Kom., M.Si.
- Outstanding Head of Study Program: Eka Wirajuang Daurrohmah, S.E.I., M.Ak.
- Best Financial Manager: Gilang Munggaran, S.E.
- Best IT Staff: Akbar Rakhmatullah, A.Md. (UT Jember)
- Exemplary Education Staff: Heri Saputra, S.E.
- Best Procurement Officer: Dyah Palupi Setiyoningrum, S.Kom.
- Best Internal Online Tutor: Dian Sugiarti, S.Pd., M.Si. (FEB)
- Best External Tutor: Hendra Riofita, M.M. (FEB)
Additionally, the event honored outstanding high school students through the National High School Essay Competition. The winners were:
- 1st Place: Elfifian Kristiani Harefa from SMA Negeri 1 Namohalu Esiwa (UT Medan)
- 2nd Place: Khairi Nur Ahyan from SMAIT Anak Sholeh Mataram (UT Mataram)
- 3rd Place: Halwa Sakina Nafsa from MA Taufiqi (UT Bogor)
The event also included the launch of 15 non-textbook titles written by UT lecturers and researchers from various fields, showcasing UT’s contribution to knowledge development in the digital age. Titles included “FastAPI Mastery,” “Media in the Era of Disruption,” and “Mathematics Education in the Digital Era.”
These awards and events are in line with UT’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4: Quality Education, by ensuring inclusive and equitable access to higher education for all, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through collaboration with the government, strategic partners, and the wider community. Through talent events like the Disporseni, UT also contributes to building character, mental health, and creativity among students as a key part of the sustainable education ecosystem.
The various awards given at the 41st Dies Natalis and National Disporseni 2025 confirmed that UT is not only expanding access to education but is also consistently recognizing those who have contributed to creating an inclusive, high-quality, and impactful higher education ecosystem for the nation. This demonstrates that UT is not just an open campus but an impactful one that actively contributes to achieving national and global development agendas toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
