Tangerang Selatan, September 15, 2025 – The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Universitas Terbuka (UT) successfully held its 2025 Beauty Seminar with the theme “Choose Your Color, Find Your Beauty.” The event was attended by DWP UT Central members, DWP-UT Regional members, the Chair of the DWP of Kemditisaintek and her staff, the Chair of the DWP of Kemenko PMK and her staff, the Chairs of DWP of State Universities (PTN) across Greater Jakarta (UNJ, UPN, UNTIRTA), IWK UI, Agrianita IPB, LLDIKTI Region III, as well as female UT employees from all over Indonesia, both offline and online.
This seminar is a tangible form of DWP UT’s commitment to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and insights of its members, especially in the areas of appearance and self-development. Through this activity, DWP UT aims to equip its members with interpersonal and social skills, as well as insights relevant to their roles as companions to their husbands and as empowered, independent women. One of the main topics discussed was understanding how to choose the right colors according to an individual’s undertone.
The Chair of DWP UT stated in her speech that, “This beauty seminar is not just about appearance; it is also a way to strengthen solidarity, togetherness, build self-confidence, and foster relationships among members.”
The theme “Choose Your Color, Find Your Beauty” was chosen with the hope that participants would understand the importance of selecting colors that suit their character and personality, whether in clothing, cosmetics, or daily lifestyle. This will enable women to appear more confident, create harmony in their families, and contribute positively in their workplaces and communities.
This activity was special as it was the first program to involve participants from Greater Jakarta, UT internal staff, and UT Regional offices in a hybrid format. The event received full support from UT leaders, strategic partners, supporting units, and sponsors, namely Bank BRI, BTN, BNI, Mandiri, BSI, and Wardah. The success of this activity was also due to the dedication of the committee, who worked with a collaborative spirit.
At this event, DWP UT presented a key speaker, Ms. Luh Komang Tri A., who shared her insights on color selection, beauty, and self-confidence. It is hoped that all participants can take home benefits that can be applied in their daily lives, both for self-development and for enhancing the active role of women in various fields.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). By enhancing the capacity and insights of women, DWP UT encourages the emergence of resilient women who can support family welfare, build social solidarity, and strengthen their active roles in society. This is in line with the spirit of UT as an Impactful Campus that not only focuses on higher education but also on strengthening the capacity of Indonesian families.

As an organization for the wives of UT employees, DWP UT is committed to improving the quality of its female resources through four main areas: Education and Training, Economy and Women’s Empowerment, Social Community, and Strengthening the role in UT Regions.
By holding this seminar, DWP UT hopes that all participants can take home knowledge, motivation, and inspiration to continue being empowered, confident, and have a positive impact on their environment.
