Tangerang Selatan, September 8, 2025 – Cahaya Lentera Nusantara (CLN) Banten has once again collaborated with the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Terbuka (FEB UT) to provide training and a briefing on the Financial Information Recording Application System (SIAPIK) for micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKMs). The event took place at the Umar Usman Business School Campus on Monday, September 8, 2025.
This training is part of the Community Service Program (PKM) by FEB UT and is a follow-up to the first session held on May 23, 2025. The event was attended by Anik Rezayanti (Operational Manager of the Umar Usman Business School Campus), Bang Djay (Chairman of Porentif and CLN Banten), and 40 UMKM actors from the South Tangerang, Tangerang Regency, and Tangerang City areas. The SIAPIK training was delivered by Eka Wirajuang Daurohmah, SE.I., M.Ak, accompanied by Rini Subekti, SE., MSc., and Elisabeth Ria Praningtyas, S.Ak., MSc.

SIAPIK is a digital financial recording application developed by Bank Indonesia (BI) to help UMKM actors manage their business finances systematically and efficiently. This application simplifies transaction recording and automatically generates digital financial reports. These reports can be used not only for analyzing business performance but also as supporting documents for applying for bank financing. With proficiency in SIAPIK, the UMKM participants are expected to be ready for the third and final session of this training series, enabling them to apply the knowledge to their business financial management, thus making it easier for them to access formal financing, expand their markets, and develop their businesses sustainably.
This training offers direct benefits to participants: improved financial literacy, digital skills, and an understanding of data-driven business strategies. Furthermore, the event strengthens networks among UMKMs through discussion forums and experience-sharing. UT, as a university with an Open and Distance Learning System (PTTJJ), brings the advantages of flexibility, accessibility, and technology-based learning support, which extends the benefits to a wider community.
Alignment with Sustainable Development Goals
This event is also relevant to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It aligns with:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): UT, through FEB, provides relevant and practical knowledge transfer to enhance community capacity.
- SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth): The SIAPIK training strengthens UMKM competitiveness, opens access to financing, and encourages local economic growth.
- SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure): It promotes the adoption of digital technology in business recording and management systems.
- SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): This event was made possible through the synergy of UT, CLN Banten, and BI in supporting the UMKM ecosystem.
The training will continue with a third session as the final stage, with the hope that participants will be able to apply SIAPIK optimally and sustainably in their business management. UT reaffirms its commitment as an Impactful Campus that not only educates but also brings tangible benefits to the community through outreach and empowerment programs.
