South Tangerang – In an effort to optimize and improve the quality of performance and global reputation, the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Science (FHISIP) of Universitas Terbuka (UT) held a Management Review Meeting (RTM) for two days on February 3-4, 2025 at the UTCC Building.
This RTM was opened by the Dean of FHISIP, Dr. Meita Istianda, S.IP, M.Si., with the theme “FHISIP Excellent and Competitive, Building National and Global Competencies, Capacities and Collaborations”.
On the first day of the RTM, the event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Terbuka, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, S.S., M.A., and the Acting Vice Rector of Academic Affairs of 2025, Dr. Rahmat Budiman, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D. This was followed by the 2024 FHISIP Performance Report and the 2025 FHISIP UT Policy Direction, as well as Evaluations and follow-up by the Vice Deans in the fields of Academics, Finance, Resources and General Affairs, and Student Affairs, Learning Services and Cooperation.
This RTM also presented speakers from BAN-PT, represented by Prof. Ari Purbayanto, Ph.D, as the Executive Director of the BAN PT Board, and from Lampsak, represented by Prof. Dr. M.R. Khairul Muluk, M.Si. This was followed by a QnA session.
On the second day, the RTM agenda included a presentation by the Quality Control Group on the results of the 2024 AMI and presentations by the Heads of Stufy Programs of FHISIP regarding the Root Causes of the AMI. This was followed by discussions, Executive Summary of Root Cause Solutions and Best Practices from each Study Program in the 2024 AMI, and concluded with the Presentation of Activity Recommendations by the FHISIP RTM substance team.
The RTM is an annual routine agenda that involves the ranks of the deans, study programs, and all FHISIP academics. The main objective of the RTM is to conduct evaluations and plan follow-up actions for performance improvement and enhancement, as well as to form a strategic plan for 2025.
The FHISIP UT RTM involves all academics, from the deans to the study programs. In 2025, FHISIP UT held the RTM for two days on February 3-4, 2025. RTM is a routine event carried out by institutions or universities to implement the Internal Quality Assurance System of the Institution.
