As the 45th State University in Indonesia, Universitas Terbuka (UT) continues its commitment to strengthening partnership and synergy with various institutions to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. One of the latest strategic steps is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bank DKI and the Regional Leadership of the Gerakan Pemuda Ansor (GP Ansor) DKI Jakarta, which took place on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the Aula Gedung Kualitas, 3rd Floor, Universitas Terbuka, South Tangerang.
The event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Terbuka, Dr. Mohamad Yunus. S.S., M.A., the President Director of Bank DKI, Agus Haryoto Widodo, the General Chairman of the Central Leadership of GP Ansor, H. Addin Jauharudin, as well as leaders from Universitas Terbuka, Bank DKI, and GP Ansor.



The event began with the signing of the MoU documents between UT and Bank DKI and GP Ansor. The Rector of UT, the President Director of Bank DKI, and the Chairman of the GP Ansor DKI Jakarta symbolically signed the documents as a manifestation of their commitment to partnership. This Memorandum of Understanding covers various aspects of collaboration, including:
- MoU with GP Ansor:
- Improving the quality of the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi)
- Institutional development
- Human resource competence development
- Collaboration in various educational, research, and community service activities
- MoU with Bank DKI:
- Development of education, research, and community service
- Provision of banking services that support academic needs
- Utilization of banking products
- Optimization of resources from both parties
In his remarks, the Rector emphasized the importance of partnership in the establishment of an institution. He expressed his appreciation to Bank DKI and GP Ansor for their trust in UT as a partner in the field of higher education.
“As the 45th State University, UT is committed to establishing partnership with Bank DKI and GP Ansor as a step in advancing education and human resources in Indonesia,” said Dr. Mohamad Yunus.
The President Director of Bank DKI, Agus Haryoto Widodo, also stated his commitment to supporting the world of education through this collaboration. Bank DKI hopes to make a broader contribution to increasing access to higher education through innovative banking services.
Meanwhile, H. Addin Jauharudin expressed his gratitude for the establishment of this partnership. He emphasized the importance of resource development in an increasingly developing and challenging economic situation. According to him, this collaboration can provide great benefits for GP Ansor members who have not yet received higher education.
The series of events concluded with a group photo and the exchange of souvenirs as a good initial symbol for this partnership. It is hoped that the collaboration between UT, Bank DKI, and GP Ansor will have a positive impact not only on the three parties involved but also on the broader improvement of education in Indonesia, addressing challenges in the digital era, and advancing the quality of education for all.
