MBKM UT X BANK BTN

The “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) program, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, provides students with the freedom and flexibility to study outside the campus environment through various activities, one of which is internships in industry. Universitas Terbuka is fully committed to supporting this initiative and ensuring that students gain maximum benefits from the program.

On Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Wisma 2, Rasamala Room, a socialization event for the UT-BTN MBKM Internship Program was held in a hybrid format at Universitas Terbuka, South Tangerang, and broadcasted via Zoom Meeting and UTTV YouTube. The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Vice Rector for Information Systems and Student Affairs, the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, Cooperation, and Business, the Head of the Research and Community Service Institute, and leadership from both Universitas Terbuka and Bank BTN.

The MBKM Program Scheme at UT includes Student Exchange, Internship/Work Practice, Village Development/Thematic Community Service (KKNT), Teaching Assistance, Entrepreneurship, Humanitarian Projects, and Independent Study/Projects. Through this program, students are expected to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and communication, which are necessary in the era of Industry 4.0. The UT-BTN internship program is open to S1-D4 students, except those in the FKIP program and the Government Science program at FHISIP, with a quota of 100 students available for the internship.
