As a State University Legal Entity (PTN-BH), Universitas Terbuka (UT) is committed to maintaining dynamic readiness and adapting to the changing times. In line with this commitment, UT emphasizes the need for high-quality human resources aligned with their duties and functions. To achieve this goal, UT recently conducted the inauguration of officials and faculty members both at the central and regional levels. 

The inauguration ceremony, held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, adopted a hybrid approach, combining an offline event at Universitas Terbuka Convention Center (UTCC) at UT Central Office in Pondok Cabe, Tangerang Selatan, with an online component via Zoom Meeting. The ceremony was attended by the appointing authority, the Rector, along with the Senate Chair, Vice-Rectors, Deans, and Board of Trustees Secretary, as well as spiritual leaders. During the ceremony, UT appointed and assigned additional duties to several officials at both the central and regional levels and appointed 37 academic positions. 

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 752 and 788 of 2024 dated February 5, 2024, the Minister OFFICIALLY TERMINATED and expressed gratitude for the services of:

In his address, Rector Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D., congratulated the newly appointed officials and faculty members. He emphasized that the position is institutional trust. The responsibility, dedication, integrity, and total commitment, Insya Allah will become a part of worship repaid not only in the world, but also in the afterlife.  

Rector Prof. Ojat expressed hist deepest gratitude to the outgoing officials for their contributions, offering prayers for their goodwill to be recorded as virtuous deeds. He concluded his speech by extending the best wishes for UT and the newly appointed individuals, hoping for beneficial outcomes for UT and Indonesia.
