Consequently, efforts are crucial to address various challenges to ensure that the national economy aligns with the intended goals. In the journey toward Indonesia Emas 2045, a vision portraying the nation as the pinnacle of success, the central role of “leaderpreneurship” takes the spotlight. Leaders who combine entrepreneurial spirit and innovation become the key to drive the country towards prosperity.
As we stride towards 2045, leaderpreneurs appear as vanguard of change, boosting economic growth, creating job opportunities, and sparking innovation. Their ability to face challenges, inspire teams, and promote sustainable business practices forms the foundation for Indonesia journey to the glory.
The synergy between leadership and entrepreneurship is not only a business strategy but a national imperative. It is about fostering a mindset that embraces risk, values creativity, and envisions a future where Indonesia stands as a global economic force.
“We believe that the coherence of leadership and entrepreneurship is the catalyst for transforming Indonesia into a golden era by 2045,” stated Muhammad Husni Arifin, S.Ag., M.Si., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Sciences (FHISIP) at Universitas Terbuka (UT). He added, “Our leaderpreneurs are architects of advancement, building the foundation for a resilient and thriving nation.”
Therefore, on November 22, 2023, from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB, FHISIP UT organized a Studium Generale or Public Lecture at the MPR RI Building. The session was opened by Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D., the Rector of Universitas Terbuka. The Keynote Speaker for the FHISIP UT 2023 Studium Generale was Dr. H. Bambang Soesatyo, S.E., M.B.A., the Chairman of MPR RI. The speakers included Drs. H. Maidi, S.H., M.M. – Mayor of Madiun, Atta Halilintar – Public Figure and Entrepreneur, and Prof. Dr. Efendi Wahyono, M.Hum. – Professor at FHISIP UT.
The theme of this Studium Generale was “The Role of Leaderpreneurship Towards Indonesia Emas 2045,” moderated by Dwi Rahmawati, S.E., M.A.B. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing the public to join via Zoom link or through the UT TV YouTube Streaming. Joined participants received free e-certificate from the organizers.
Through this Studium Generale, it is hoped that numerous ideas, thoughts, and discussions will emerge, contributing to the advancement of excellent human resources, particularly in responding to the demographic bonus. UT academic community can develop innovative research needed for Indonesia to become an advanced nation and an incubator for the opening of industries and entrepreneurship led by proficient leadership. It is a collective journey where each leaderpreneur plays a vital role in the narrative of Indonesia Emas 2045.
