Bogor, May 23, 2025 – Universitas Terbuka (UT) Bogor held a solemn ceremony to commemorate the 2025 Pancasila Day at its campus grounds. The event, starting at 07:30 AM WIB, brought together all UT Bogor staff and several high school students interning at the university.
The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” followed by a moment of silence. Drs. Enang Rusyana, M.Pd., the Director of UT Bogor, presided over the ceremony and led the recitation of the Pancasila text. The Preamble of the 1945 Constitution was then read, concluding with a prayer.

In his address, Drs. Enang Rusyana, M.Pd., delivered the speech from the Head of the Agency for Pancasila Ideology Development (BPIP) of the Republic of Indonesia. The core message highlighted that Pancasila is more than just a historical document; it’s the soul of the nation, a framework for unity in diversity, and a moral compass for progress. It calls for revitalizing Pancasila values in all aspects of life—education, governance, economy, and the digital space—to build an Indonesia that is technologically advanced, morally sound, and socially just, countering extremism and disinformation. The ceremony emphasized a collective commitment to integrate these values, ensuring that Pancasila remains at the heart of Indonesia’s development.
The ceremony underscored UT Bogor’s commitment to fostering national values and contributing to a stronger, more just, and civilized Indonesia through education, aligning with the broader national agenda of “Rising Together, Realizing a Strong Indonesia.”
