Universitas Terbuka (UT) Purwokerto is expanding its educational services through Sentra Layanan Universitas Terbuka (SALUT) across Banyumas Raya to Brebes, ensuring students can access academic and administrative support without visiting the main campus.
This initiative reflects UT’s commitment to inclusive education by combining digital learning with nearby, community-based services. Director Dr. Prasetyarti Utami emphasized that distance should not make students feel disconnected, with SALUT serving as a bridge between the university and its learners.
The expanded SALUT network now covers Banyumas, Cilacap, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, Kebumen, Brebes, and Tegal. Students benefit from easier access to information, academic assistance, and administrative services, supported by integrated digital platforms like Dashboard and SILAYAR.
By blending technology with direct support, UT Purwokerto ensures a more accessible and responsive learning experience. This effort aligns with global goals for inclusive, quality education, reinforcing UT’s mission to make higher education available anytime, anywhere, for everyone.
