Tangerang Selatan, June 30, 2025 — In preparation for a superior and adaptive digital learning system for the new curriculum, the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences, and Political Sciences (FHISIP) of Universitas Terbuka (UT) once again held the Online Tutorial Materials (Tuton) and Tutorial Kit Workshop Series 2. This workshop carried the theme “Strengthening Tuton Materials as a Supporter of Quality Digital Learning” and was conducted online via the Zoom platform.
This activity is part of UT’s strategy in facing curriculum changes based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which prioritizes the Case-Based Learning (CBL) and Project-Based Learning (PBL) approaches. Therefore, strengthening the quality of Tuton materials is crucial so that students can learn more independently, purposefully, and in line with future needs.

The event was opened by Anto Hidayat, S.IP., M.Si., Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Learning Services, and Cooperation at FHISIP UT. In his welcoming remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in the process of developing digital learning materials.
Next, Dr. Irsanti Widuri Asih, S.Sos., M.Si., as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, presented the integration of OBE concepts into UT’s learning structure, including the implementation of CBL and PBL methods as strategic steps to shape graduates who are adaptive and solution-oriented.
The core material was delivered by Dr. Pepi Rospina Pertiwi, S.P., M.Si., who thoroughly reviewed the development of Tuton materials and the use of Tutorial Kits as interactive learning aids. Workshop participants were given practical guidance to enable them to create content that is not only informative but also engaging and relevant to the current digital context.
The final session consisted of technical explanations by Anto Hidayat, followed by independent work from the participants. This workshop is expected to be an important milestone in providing learning materials that support distance learning more effectively, innovatively, and sustainably within Universitas Terbuka.
