UT and Eduversal Foundation Collaborate! Education Transformation in The Digital Era

As Universitas Terbuka (UT) enters its 40th year, it continues its commitment to strengthening collaborations and synergy with various institutions to enhance the quality of education in Indonesia. One of its latest strategic moves is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Eduversal Foundation. The signing ceremony was held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Operation Room of BKUK Building, Universitas Terbuka, South Tangerang. 

The event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Terbuka, Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D., the Chairman of Eduversal Foundation, Arya Adrian Maulana, M.Ed., and leaders from both Universitas Terbuka and Eduversal Foundation. The partnership focuses on improving the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and Institutional Development. 

The event continued with the reading of the abstract followed by the signing of the MoU between UT and Eduversal Foundation, signed by the Rector of UT and the Head of Eduversal Foundation. This was followed by the signing of the MoA between the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) and Eduversal Foundation, covering the scope of Education, Research, and Community Service. The MoA was signed by the Head of the Islamic Education Study Program, Muhammad Sulaiman, S.Pd., B.I.S., M.Pd., representing the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Dr. Ucu Rahayu, M.Sc., along with the Chairman of Eduversal Foundation. 

In his remark, the Rector emphasized the important role of UT as a state university legal entity (PTN-BH) status, providing open and distance education in the rapidly evolving technological era. He also highlighted the significance of digital education in the mission of building the Indonesian nation and expressed hope that the partnership with Eduversal Foundation will help achieve this mission’s success. 

Mr. Arya Adrian Maulana also expressed his appreciation for UT as an inclusive higher education institution that strives to establish this partnership. He hopes that this collaboration will combine the strengths of both parties to face the challenges of education in the digital era. 

The event concluded with a group photo session and the exchange of souvenirs, symbolizing the positive start of this partnership. It is hoped that the collaboration between UT and Eduversal Foundation will bring positive impacts not only for both parties involved but also for the broader improvement of education in Indonesia, addressing the challenges of the digital era and advancing the quality of education for all.
