Exceptional! UT Achieve Entrepreneur HUB Award by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs 

A number of technological research and sustainability-based innovations continue to be developed by the government, especially by the Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to accelerate the reinforcement of entrepreneurial growth. Therefore, “Entrepreneur HUB” was organized as one of the national entrepreneurial development steps according to the mandate of Presidential Decree Number 2 of 2022. 

The “Entrepreneur HUB” by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs event was attended by Siti Azizah as the Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs. The event was organized on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Hotel Vivere, Artotel Curated, Jl. Gading Serpong Boulevard Blok O No. 7 & 8, Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten. The event also invited Universitas Terbuka which was attended by the Head of Community Service Center – LPPM, Dra. Yusrafiddin, M.Pd. 

During the event, UT achieved the “Entrepreneur Hub” Appreciation/Award Charter. Moreover, one of the 6th-semester students of UT Bogor, from the Agribusiness with Fishery specialization department, working at the Research Center for Freshwater Aquaculture and Fisheries Extension. 

Along with the awarding achievement by Entrepreneur HUB, UT proved its contribution to support the business and innovation development of SME practitioners. This is also a form of UT best practices with the Pentahelix approach where there is synergy between the government, entrepreneur, university academic, community, and media to develop national entrepreneurship. UT will always participate in supporting the government in developing a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem for the enhancement and development of Indonesian entrepreneurs in diverse regions.
