Bringing Transformation and Advance Services, UT Inaugurate New Officials for 2025

South Tangerang, February 10, 2025 – Universitas Terbuka (UT) once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) services for higher education, one of which is through the inauguration of officials within the university. This inauguration process is part of UT’s strategy in focusing on improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) to strengthen UT’s overall reputation, performance, quality and competitiveness. 

The inauguration ceremony for new officials within UT both at the Central and Regional levels was held on Monday, February 10, 2025 in a hybrid manner at the Universitas Terbuka Quality Building, 3rd floor, and online via Zoom Meeting. The event was attended by the Rector of UT, Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A., Vice Rector for Finance, Resources and General Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Muktiyanto, S.E., M.Si., Vice Rector for Information Systems and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Paken Pandiangan, S.Si., M.Si., Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Deans, leaders within UT, and the Dharma Wanita Universitas Terbuka. 

Based on the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Terbuka Numbers 553 to 557, 559 and 565 to 567 of 2025 dated February 5, 2025, Rector Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A. stipulated that as of February 10, 2025, a number of officials were honorably discharged and several others were appointed to new positions. 

The names of the officials who were dismissed include: 

  • Rahmat Budiman, Ph.D., as Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, Cooperation and Business 
  • Prof. Karnedi, as Director of UT Padang 
  • Dr. Kartono, as Head of Learning Management Center 
  • Timbul Pardede, M.Si., as Head of Testing Management Center 
  • Cyntia Maria Siwi, M.A.P., as coordinator of Registration, Learning and Exams at UT Manado 
  • Teguh Nursanto, MMSI, S.H., as Head of Administration Subdivision at LPPM 
  • Oki Putra Budiarahman, S.H., as Head of Non-Academic Subdivision at SPs 
  • Yadi Apriyadi, S.Kom., as Head of Administration Subdivision at UT Yogyakarta 
  • Yana Andriana, S.T., as Head of Administration Subdivision at UT Pangkal Pinang 
  • Lusy Farina, M.M.Ak., as Head of Administration Subdivision at UT Batam 
  • Trias Rachmatika, M.Ak., as PPKM Administration Manager Assistant at LPPM 

Based on the Decree of the Rector of Universitas Terbuka Numbers 553 to 557, 559 and 565 to 567 of 2025 dated February 5, 2025, Rector Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A. stipulated that as of February 10, 2025, for the purposes of service, additional duties/positions for the 2025-2030 term were given to: 

  • Rahmat Budiman, Ph. D., as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs (term until August 24, 2025) 
  • Mery Berlian, M.Si., as Director of UT Padang 
  • Dr. Kartono, as Head of Testing Management Center 
  • Dimas Agung Prasetyo, M.Sc., as Head of Learning Management Center 
  • Teguh Nursantoso, MMSI, as Marketing and Registration Manager at UT Jayapura. 
  • Selly Anastassia Amellia Kharis, M.Si., as Learning and Exam Manager at UT Jakarta 
  • Raflen Aril Gerungan, M.Si., as Learning and Exam Manager at UT Manado 
  • Lukman Marchel Recky, S.Kom., as Marketing and Registration Manager at UT Manado 
  • Yadi Apriyadi, S.Kom., as Service and Facility Manager at PBBI 
  • Heri Indrawan, S.Kom., as Administration Manager at UT Samarinda 
  • Menanda Fuad Supriyanta, S.Kom., as Administration Manager at UT Yogyakarta 
  • Edy Fitriawan Syahadat, M.Si., as Registration, Learning and Exam Coordinator at UT Sorong 
  • Trias Rachmatika, M.Ak., as Head of Administration Subdivision at LPPM 
  • Yana Andriana, S.T., as Head of Non-Academic Subdivision at SPs 
  • Silfi Amelia, S. Akun., as Head of Administration Subdivision at UT Batam 

On the occasion after the reading of the oath and inauguration, it was continued by the reading of the speech by the Rector of UT, Dr. Mohamad Yunus, S.S., M.A. He expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the previous officials who had served with high dedication. 

Not forgetting, Dr. Mohammad Yunus also welcomed the new officials with the hope that they can bring innovation and improve the quality of UT services, as well as strengthen UT’s role in opening access to education for all communities. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, integrity, high responsibility, and upholding the ethics of office in carrying out the mandate in each unit to support UT’s transformation in achieving its vision, becoming a world-class quality distance higher education institution.
