Bripda Farel Gets Gold, UT Jambi Student Excel in International Taekwondo

South Tangerang – Another proud achievement was made by a Universitas Terbuka (UT) student. Bripda Farel Patra Syaifullah, a Law student at UT Jambi who is also a member of the Bungo Police, won a gold medal in the -68 Kg Class of the TNI-POLRI Category at the International Kasal Cup 2 Taekwondo Championship 2025. This prestigious championship took place on February 14-16, 2025 at the GOR Purna Krida, Denpasar, Bali and was attended by the best athletes from various institutions at home and abroad.

This success is clear evidence that UT students are not only superior in the academic world, but are also able to excel in sports. With an unyielding spirit and hard work in training, Bripda Farel Patra Syaifullah showed that discipline and dedication can lead someone to the peak of achievement, both in the police, academic, and sports worlds.

Not merely winning a medal, this victory is also a symbol that UT students are able to compete on the national and international stage. As a student who is undergoing distance education, Farel proves that the flexibility of the UT education system provides opportunities for students to continue to balance professional duties, education and self-development in other fields.

The International Kasal Cup 2 Taekwondo Championship 2025 is a highly competitive event, where participants have to face tough opponents with high technical and strategic abilities. However, with disciplined training and support from various parties, Farel was able to overcome every challenge and come out as champion.

Proud to be part of UT!

Universitas Terbuka always supports its students to excel in various fields. The success of Bripda Farel Patra Syaifullah is expected to motivate other UT students to continue to develop their potential, both in academics and other fields.

Congratulations and success to Bripda Farel Patra Syaifullah! May this achievement be an inspiration for other UT students to continue to excel, make the nation proud, and prove that UT students can compete at the national and international level.
