South Tangerang – 26/03/2025 – Universitas Terbuka (UT) has once again achieved a proud accomplishment in the academic world. In the Accreditation of Journals for Period 1 of 2025, UT successfully added four scientific journals accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). With this achievement, the total number of accredited journals owned by UT now reaches 15, which underscores UT’s commitment to improving the quality of scientific publications in Indonesia. 

The four journals that have recently received accreditation include: 

• International Journal of Theory and Application in Elementary and Secondary School Education (Sinta 4) 

• Journal of Financial and Behavioural Accounting (Sinta 4) 

• VOKAL: Jurnal Ilmiah Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (Sinta 4) 

• Antroposen: Journal of Social Studies and Humaniora (Sinta 5) 
  
  
  

This success is clear evidence that UT continues to strive to improve the quality standards of its scientific journals so that they can contribute more broadly to the academic world and the wider community, both nationally and internationally.

As a state university that promotes the concept of open and distance education, UT not only focuses on expanding access to higher education but also continuously improves the quality of research and scientific publications. With the increasing number of accredited journals, UT is further strengthening its reputation as a center of excellence in the development of knowledge.
