Starting off the second week of this February, on Monday, February 5, 2018, Indonesia Open University or Universitas Terbuka (UT) hosted its guests from Universitas Bina Nusantara (BINUS). The operational envoy from Binus was led by Deputy Director Binus Online Learning, Agus Putranto, who was received by UT Vice Rector for Partnership and Institutional Development Drs. Moh. Muzammil, MM, in person, and all Heads of the UT Operational Centers on the 2nd Floor of the Rectorate Building.

Vice Director of Binus Online Learning, Agus Putranto, in his speech, said that this visit served as the momentum for getting together as well as, in particular, for having better knowledge of UT “we come here to know more about the processes in UT, and also we are here because we would like to ask the government to run distance learning programs” he said. In line with Agus Putranto, Drs. Mohammad Muzammil also said that this visit is a sharing moment for the two institutions that have applied the online learning.

The discussion between the two universities went well and interesting. The scheme for the online learning system has become the main subject of the discussion for BINUS in order to get to know more closely about UT, starting from the learning process up to the implementation of online-base testing system.

The current visit ended with paying a visit to the relevant operational services units, i.e. the Centre for UT Multi Media Development and the Center for UT Learning Materials Management.
