The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Terbuka, is one of faculties focusing on economics and business. Within the framework of an open and distance university, the faculty offers a wide range of academic programs, from economics to management. Through flexible learning methods, students can adjust the study at their own pace. The faculty has qualified lecturers who transform practical experience to the learning process. It also encourages research contributing to our understanding of economics and business. As part of UT, the faculty plays an important role in expanding access to quality education for all society levels.

Currently, the Faculty of Economics and Business has 6 study programs, namely Accounting, Public Finance Accounting, Sharia Economics, Development Economics, Management, and Tourism. Having experience as a leading institution of distance education providers in Indonesia, the quality of distance learning implementation has been recognized both nationally and internationally. All study programs at the faculty have been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT); further, three study programs, i.e., Management, Accounting, and Development Economics have been accredited A. Internationally, Universitas Terbuka has also received a Quality Certificate from the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE).
