Participants must make their own travel arrangements to and from Bali.

At the Airport

A hospitality desk will be established at the International Arrival Gate of the Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar on Saturday, 1 October 2011.

How to get to the conference venue (i.e. Westin Resort) from the airport

From Ngurah Rai International Airport (by air):

• As you leave the airport, follow signs for Ngurah Rai bypass.
• After approximately 5 minutes driving, you will get to an intersection where you can see the statue of Ngurah Rai.
• Turn right at the traffic light which goes to Nusa Dua Resort
  – BTDC/Kawasan Pariwisata Nusa Dua.
• Go straight on the main road up to the end of Ngurah Rai bypass.
• Then after approximately 7 kilometers driving, you will reach the main gate of BTDC/Kawasan Pariwisata Nusa Dua.
• The Westin Resort Nusa Dua is located at the Nusa Dua Resort/Kawasan Pariwisata BTDC.
• As you pass the main gate, turn right at the first roundabout.
• Then turn left at the second roundabout before entering the hotel gate.

Ngurah Rai International Airport is approximately 13 kilometers (8.08 miles) from Nusa Dua Resort.

Approximate journey time is 20 minutes.

In case you need to take a taxi from the airport to the conference venue, go to the official taxi counter at the airport and request a metered taxi to go to the Bali International Convention Center within the Westin Resort Nusa Dua complex.
Approximate cost of a taxi from the airport is 90,000 IDR (single).

Local transport

Airport transfer : airport pick-up service should be arranged by participants directly with the hotel (some hotels will ask for additional fees);

Daily shuttle service: daily shuttle service from the official hotels to the venue will be provided.

Registration  and Payment

Online registration: please bring proof of your payment with you to the conference (i.e. bank transfer receipt)

On-site registration: cash (in USD and IDR) or credit card payments are accepted; cheques and other foreign currencies are not accepted.

Poster presenters

You are requested to proceed to the poster information counter after conference
registration. You will be provided with assigned poster board numbers used for poster display.

The Conference Organizer will not be able to assist you in printing and duplicating. We therefore advise you to prepare your poster prior to your departure and bring it with you.

Program book

Program book will be sent to all participants in PDF format; its printed version will accompany the conference kit.

Papers and Proceedings

The online conference papers will be available on the conference website (www.ut.ac.id/icde2011) exclusively for the participants of the 24th ICDE World Conference for the purpose of discussion during the conference.

The full conference proceedings will be available online starting 20 October 2011for a one year period.

The author has the right to publish his/her own paper in other academic journals.

The Organizing Committee provides wireless Internet connections within the Plenary Hall and Parallel rooms only.

Desktop computers are available at the Internet Café on 2nd Floor for free.

Internet access in the hotel rooms is provided by the hotel at your own cost.
